Intuitive writing has become a regular and deeply sacred and creative practice in my life. In my experience, it adds another dimension to journaling and provides an honoring of oneself and one's process. It allows the dissolving of the mind and provides a direct path to one's intuitive and authentic flow. It bypasses the mind's tendency to wrap around thought forms in an endless debilitating cycle. It allows space for the completion of suppressed e-motion and frees the energy flow within the body vehicle.
Intuitive writing assists in moving one from feeling victimized by shadow work to embracing shadows as a sacred portal to one's gifts, and in my personal and professional experience, oftentimes to one's most beautiful and authentically unique gifts.
Setting the stage for your intuitive writing practice:
. Create a space in your calendar for self-care
. Set an intention for your practice
. Be open, curious and non-judgmental about your process
. Lower your eyes and ground into the souls of your feet and sitting bones
. Take a few deep rhythmic breaths and allow your awareness to ride the edge
of your breath
. Observe your mind and allow any resistant thought forms to dissolve or
. Feel the expansion and contraction of your body with each in-breath and
. Begin writing and allow your stream of consciousness to effortlessly unfold
(you may find yourself naturally shifting from words to images, symbols,
sounds, etc--TRUST yourSelf!)
. Think EXPANSION and have FUN!!!
