I love the way the sun illuminates Mother Earth's magic and beauty in this photo as we celebrate her on her special day and express our gratitude for her deeply nourishing gifts. It is as if she is singing her sweet Light Language to us -- gently holding us within the canopy of her trees. It brings my heart back to January 12, the day of the Saturn/Pluto conjunction, when 13 grandmothers were called to complete the anchoring of Gaia's solar plexus -- her Inner Divine Sun (Son). I would love to share here the sacred words of their ceremony as it has opened up such a Light portal of healing. In deep honor and reverence to Gaia. Words just can't convey ... Let the sun shine on Uluru and Kata Tjuta, Let the Pathway of the Rainbow Serpent be clear, So that greater health and vitality may circulate Throughout the world to bless all beings; Today, breathe -- relax -- smile and give thanks to the Earth. Happy 50th Birthday Beloved Gaia ... May we all feel the radiant sustenance of creating anew, breathe a sparkle of light on the rich dark canvas of our inner landscape, and experience this void as beautiful ... Morning Dew by Madisyn Taylor (Daily OM) Our very own lives can be magical, like the fleeting morning dew on a flower tip. The world awakens each day from its nightly slumber, transformed by a sparkling layer of morning dew on the grass, on flower petals and leaves, on cars and car windows. These glistening droplets last only a little while, an integral part of what imbues the early morning with its aura of magic. If we sleep too late, we miss the magnificent display of sunlight playing upon an infinite amount of tiny crystal balls. To step onto the dew-covered grass is to anoint our feet with a form of water that comes only once a day for a short time, a rarefied gift of the night air that will soon evaporate in the full light of the sun. If we inhale slowly and consciously enough, it is almost as if we are drinking in this magical elixir formed in the boundary between darkness and light. In one myth, morning dew is believed to be tears from heaven, and in another, the droplets are poured from the vessel of the goddess of dawn. When we see the earth draped with these shimmering drops, it is easy to imagine fairies bathing in the water, or a sky god weeping from a longing to be closer to his beloved earth goddess. Seeing the sparkling beauty of the earth emerging from darkness, we may understand this longing in terms of our own gratitude; how blessed we are to be here. Perhaps heaven really does long to be here on earth, and perhaps that is why we are here--as conduits between the divine and the earthbound. As we drink the morning dew in with our eyes, our skin, our breath, it is easy to imagine that it really is a magical potion, a gift from heaven, a reminder of our true purpose, and a daily opportunity to be transformed. Whether or not you honor today with the sacred teachings of Jesus' death and crucifixion process, this day can feel most holy if you embrace your grief through ceremony as an act of deep self-love. While I danced into my fears and through my grief, a sacred space opened within me for new possibilities to birth -- while also hearing the words from a previous post flow into my heart. This poem has helped me through my darkness and feels so resonant to re-post today. In celebration to all who would like to create meaning within the darkness. May it bring comfort during this time of enormous planetary and collective shifts. Chaos Chaos is a shaman. She is ageless and walks the earth in worn brown buckskins, a wing of eagle feathers in her hand, and a medicine pouch around her neck that taps against her heart as she moves. Chaos is blind. She was wounded while playing with a wildcat when she was seven. Though she cannot see in this world, her vision in the otherworld is sharp. Her eyes are tunnels, doorways into lost cathedrals. You will see yourself there, if you're willing to look. Being blind taught Chaos to move by feel, trust her instincts, and develop her inner sight. For her, it is always the hour of twilight, that time of passage between worlds, where lines blur, air has texture and tone, and the shape of the self loosens. If Chaos reaches for your hand, take it. She is an excellent tracker and guide. She will lead you safely through your darkest terrain. She will teach you to navigate by feel. She will ask you to face your demons {I changed this word to "shadows"} and to let go of everything you identify with until all of your masks fall away and burn, and all that remains is life itself, dancing you like a river. (C) Meredith Heller 2002 We are presently in a very expansive portal and paradigm shift, and I felt guided to share a video I created a couple weeks ago. Many of us are finding solace in nature as a nourishing support while we step into the sacred waters of the unknown together. This is a time to embrace STILLNESS within the inner temple of your body -- your physical vehicle which inhabits your spirit -- whether you feel guided to be in this space alone or in a sacred and loving space with others. We have a huge opportunity to BE with ourselves, to deeply witness ourSelves from an inner space of tenderness, camaraderie and love and to heal aspects that have felt disintegrated and ignored. As many of us are aware, this is occurring on a personal as well as a collective level. May you all connect with others in a way that feels supportive and resonant with your innermost authentic self. And to all of you who are feeling alone, please reach out -- there are a multitude of resources to assist you through this time. Today at 10:45 PM EST Pluto and Jupiter will form a conjunction and MANY of us will be joining in a Global Meditation to expand our Light and Love -- radiating deeply within and without a powerful devotion to helping our beloved collective, along with Gaia, continue through this amazing ascension. |
